Each time media reports about the impact students have on local and entire country life it throws a spotlight on the crucial role of students self-government in their educational institutions in our turbulent social environment.
Whichever way you look at it, the days of widespread students involvement in an array of public and political activities are upon us.
Our students know they have to earn the right to maintain the highest standards of their training and living, and they are doing that day after day using the leverage of their trade union.
The NNIC's Students trade union organisation is here:
- to support and defend the students' rights
- to support their members financially using its funds in cases of emergency
- to make the students self-management system work on daily basis
- to help students enjoy discounts using the local public transportation system and visiting cultural and enterntainment events.
